Family: Orchidaceae (Orchid family).

The Prasophyllum group of orchids contains numerous undescribed species i.e. those not yet formally described and named. In Wild Orchids of Victoria Australia by Backhouse and Jeanes, 2006, 37 undescribed leek orchids are photographed. The term "sp. affin" is shorthand for a "species with affinities to". There may be more than one species of Scented Leek Orchids in the district.

It is not a common species but is widely distributed.

VROTS: Prasophyllum sp. aff. odoratum is listed as an endangered species. The leek orchid photographed may,or may not, be the rare species.
