Many-flowered Mat-rush - native (Lomandra multiflora)
Family: Asparagaceae (Asparagus family).
Occurrence: Common and widespread.
Recognise
- leaves are green and 20cm or more long and often eroded at the tip
- the yellow-brown flowers are in rings (whorled, like the spokes of a wheel) around the stem.
When not in flower it can be distinguished from Wattle Mat-rush by the much longer and greener leaves.
