Tall Lobela - native (Lobelia gibbosa)

Family: Campanulaceae (Bluebell family).

Native of Australia.

Occurrence: Common and widespread and may be locally abundant. It flowers in summer, and so is not often recorded.

Identification:

• it is an erect herb
• it has striking deep-purple "fle-de-lis" flowers.
