Family: Cistaceae.
Mediterranean region.
Occurrence: A conspicuous patch is growing beside the Harcourt-Sedgwick Road, a little south of Ford Road.
Identification:
- is a bushy shrub
- the leaves are in opposite pairs.
The shrub has been identified as Cistus ladanifer. I do not know if this is accurate or not. The patch has probably spread from a garden escape.
