Spike Wattle - native (Acacia oxycedrus)

It has a very localised distribution, growing along Fryers Ridge Road and Green Gully Road (south of Glenluce).

The flowers are clustered into rods, and the leaves are flat and very sharp-pointed, making this a distinctive wattle.

It flowers in spring.
